The Institute of Theoretical Astrophysics of the University of Oslo announces a PhD research fellowship in Cosmology.
The successful applicant is expected to carry out research on the nature of dark energy and modified gravity. In particular, to test and constrain high energy physics models of dark energy and extensions of Einstein General Relativity using cosmological data from Supernovae, cosmic microwave background radiation, galaxy clusters, lensing, etc.The fellowship includes generous travel opportunities, excellent local computer resources and the possibility of working in collaboration with people in other institutions around the globe.
No tuition fees. The starting salary is NOK 353,200 (approx. 41,000 EUR) per year.
