WASEDA University Asia Special Scholarship, Japan

The Graduate School of Asia-Pacific Studies (GSAPS) @ WASEDA will shortlist from the pool of applicants and recommend them to the WASEDA University Centre of International Education (CIE). Cambodian students are also eligible for WASEDA scholarships.
Application Period: February 9 (Monday) - 16 (Monday), 2009 (Deadline)
Potential Candidates: TWO (Masters' Programme)
Scholarship Grants
1- Exemption of the Graduate School Tuition Fees (In Principle, TWO years)
2- A 200,000 JPY Monthly Allowance
3- A 150,000 JPY One-Time Travel Allowance (Upon Entry to Japan Only)
Eligibility
To apply for the Waseda University Asia Special Scholarship, an applicant must:
-Be a national of an Asian country (List of Participating Countries: Annex 2)
-Be less than 35 years old (at the point of matriculation)
-Hold a bachelor's degree or its equivalent
-In principle, applicants should have at least two years of full-time professional experience acquired after a university degree, in the applicant's home country or in a third country
-Be prepared to return to his/ her native country upon completion of studies and contribute to his/ her home country
