ABCDE Korea will take place in Seoul, Korea on June 22-24, 2009. It will be co-organized by the World Bank and the Government of Korea (Ministry of Strategy and Finance and the Korea Development Institute, KDI). The overall theme of the conference is “Lessons from East Asia and the Global Financial Crisis”.
ABCDE 2009 will focus on five broad themes:
- Industrial Policy and Development
- Social Capital, Institutions, and Development
- Financial Crisis and Regulation
- The Road Ahead to a Sustainable Global Economic System
- Innovation and Competition
