Khmer Intellectuals - Scholarship: New scholarship opportunities for Cambodian and ASEAN Students to study in Japan.
The ERIA/JENESYS Next Leaders Program Scholarship is offered by Economic Research Institute for ASEAN and East Asia (ERIA) to students from ASEAN countries. APU was chosen as one of only four institutions to receive students under this prestigious scholarship for 2009; alongside Tokyo University, Waseda University, and National Graduate Institute for Policy Studies (GRIPS).
Recipients of this scholarship will study in master level programs administered in the English language related to economic integration, regional development, sustainable energy sources, IT applications, and other areas related to shared policy issues in East Asia.
In July, recipients will attend an orientation in Jakarta prior to admission, and during class break periods they will earn hands-on experience by participating in internships at the ERIA Secretariat in Jakarta.
